Not only are Bed Bugs unpleasant and a hard infestation to get rid of. If a unit is dirty, cluttered and or is not properly prepared for treatment the bed bugs can hide and resurface almost immediately. Common Bed Bug treatments focus on applying a fungus or spray to the baseboards of the unit as a preventative measure. This type of treatment alone leaves out areas where the pest lives such as on fabrics, mattresses and upholstery untreated. Our Bed Bug Deep Cleans focus on not only cleaning and prepping the unit for treatment, but we also provide steam treatment to the mattress(s) and upholstery in the home.
How does Steam Treatment work against Bed Bugs?
Bed Bugs and their eggs die instantly at 180 degrees, the steamers we use reach a temperature of 210-220 degrees. When doing a Steam Treatment, our team treats the entire mattress and box spring, getting into the areas where traditional fungus or spray treatment do not get. We then put on bed bug protectors on all treated mattresses and box springs. We also steam treat infested upholstery and furniture throughout the home.
For bedding and clothing, we provide a laundry service where the fabrics are washed in hot water and dried at high temperatures. *Please note laundry services are an additional cost.
For chemical treatments in addition to the Bed Bug Deep Clean, please see our pest control section and or contact us for more information.
